This is a blues song that is very traditional in melody and structure with no surprises. Most people quickly recognize a song like this because it follows countless other blues tunes. Hence the title...

I’ve played Worn Parts in several different bands over the years. It was always a good crowd pleaser and seemed to get the audience more engaged with the band before we hit them with more serious music.

This song was also a venue where the musicians could stretch out during their solos. Depending on the gig and the musicians, the solos could go longer than the one I took on this recording.
