This tune I wrote for a sports television show. At the time I was writing a lot of high energy music that would fit a sports show or a Nascar type race. Loud guitars, high energy is the template for those type of TV shows. Over the years I’ve had a fair amount of music placed on Television. My Youtube channel has some of those placements in there. It’s a nice way to make some extra money. Here’s the link:

Because I was aiming this track for TV there is no overt melody and the solos are kept to a minimum. This was also one of the first tunes I recorded without an amplifier. I think the guitars came out pretty good. This convinced me that I really didn’t need an amp to record guitar tracks anymore. And from this song onward I have recorded directly into my audio interface.
