This song started out as an idea years ago but was never fully realized until this recording. Over the years I tried countless times to make the basic chord progression into a song but always ran into road blocks. Even when I recorded this song with Mason Davis I still had no melody or any solid idea of what to do with the solo section.

Once the drum and bass tracks were recorded a synth melody came to me immediately. Odd how that happens.... for the solo section there are 4 synth chords that come in. These chords I recorded after the solo was complete. Which is something I had never done before and really wasn’t my intention at all, but in listening to the guitar solo I heard the chord changes in there. So I put in the synth chords and that’s when everything fell into place.
